1. Who is responsible for your data

This Policy applies to selenaseiler.com and related pages, forms, the quiz, consultation booking, our products and our communications with you.

2. Data we collect

  • contact details: name, email address, phone number or messenger username;
  • quiz and consultation information: your goals, eating habits, previous diets, difficulties and readiness to change;
  • purchase information: product, amount and payment status (card details are handled by the payment provider, not by us);
  • communications: messages, emails and notes from our conversations;
  • technical data: IP address, device and browser, language, pages viewed, referrer and campaign parameters (UTM), cookies and similar identifiers.

You decide what to enter in forms and the quiz. Some fields are required to book a consultation.

3. Why we use your data and on what basis

  • to book and deliver the consultation and our services (performance of a contract or steps before a contract);
  • to prepare personalised recommendations (contract; explicit consent for health-related information);
  • to communicate with you, answer questions and send service messages (contract, legitimate interests);
  • to send follow-ups and marketing messages (consent or legitimate interests where the law allows; you can opt out at any time);
  • to measure and improve the site and advertising (consent where required, otherwise legitimate interests);
  • to keep the site secure, prevent abuse and handle legal claims (legitimate interests);
  • to meet legal obligations such as accounting and tax rules.

4. Health-related information

Your quiz answers and consultation conversation may reveal information about your health or eating behaviour. We process such information only with your explicit consent. You can skip questions you do not want to answer and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect earlier processing.

5. AI and automated tools

We use AI tools to help structure and analyse the information you provide. We do not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you based solely on automated processing. Recommendations are reviewed by a person.

6. Who receives your data

We share data only with service providers who process it on our instructions, for example for hosting and databases, payments (Stripe), email and messaging (such as Resend and Telegram), video meetings (Zoom), analytics and advertising measurement (such as Google Analytics and Meta), and AI tools.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data to authorities where legally required and to a successor in case of a business transfer.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential technologies for the site to work and, with your consent where required, analytics and advertising technologies such as the Meta Pixel. You can manage your choice through the cookie settings on the site or in your browser.

8. International transfers

We are based in Switzerland. Our providers may process data in Switzerland, the EU/EEA, the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or comparable safeguards.

9. How long we keep data

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Lead and quiz data are kept until the purpose is fulfilled or you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe. Accounting and tax records are kept for the legally required periods (in Switzerland generally up to 10 years).

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or the authority in your country.

If you are a California resident, you may request to know, correct or delete your personal information and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing”. We do not sell personal data for money. Advertising cookies may count as “sharing”; you can opt out through the cookie settings or by writing to us. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Residents of other regions (for example Brazil, Canada, Australia) have comparable rights under local law. To exercise a right, email info@selenaseiler.com. We usually reply within 30 days and may need to verify your identity.

11. Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, such as access control and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure; please protect your own devices and accounts.

Our services are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
